In the first half of 2011 the living wage has grown by 16.2 percent and totaled 5003 rubles in Dagestan. As to the source in the Republic’s Ministry of Economy, the changes occurred against the growth of consumer prices by 14 percent on average within the same period.

The living wage size for 6 months of the current year has made 34.9 percent compared with average monthly monetary incomes per capita in Dagestan and 47.2 percent from the estimated monthly average nominal added salary per worker for January-June, 2011.

The population share with monetary incomes below the living wage in aggregate made 10,9 percent (January – June, 2010 – 11,2 percent).
